2026 Spring Campaign

2026 Spring Campaign

MAKE A GIFT TODAY!

Dear Friends,

Thank you to everyone who has already supported our 2026 Spring Campaign—we are so grateful!

We’re excited to share some incredible news: thanks to the generosity of an anonymous supporter, donations will now be matched dollar for dollar, up to $30,000. That means your impact will be instantly doubled.

Now is the moment to give! Your support will go twice as far in helping us reach our goal of $250,000 to ensure access to NCEFT’s programs this year.

NCEFT delivers over 4,000 program sessions to over 400 clients each year. Providing services at this scale creates meaningful impact, but also brings significant demands — from financial assistance and facility upkeep of our 100-year-old barn, to the daily care of our incredible therapy horses.

What your gift makes possible right now:

  • A veteran can receive services at no cost
  • Essential repairs and upkeep to our facility can be completed
  • Our therapy horses can receive the care they need to stay healthy and make our work possible
  • A child struggling with confidence can build self-esteem through connection with our horses and mental health sessions
  • A child from a low-income family can receive financial assistance

Thank you for being part of our steadfast community. Your support builds the momentum needed to sustain our work and expand our reach.

Wishing you a joyful and healthy spring!

Nancy Contro, MSW, LCSW
Executive Director

“Working with Mac has been the most meaningful part of my healing journey. There is something about his steady presence that helps me feel safe, grounded, and understood without needing words.” – Mental Health and Resilience Client
“Watching my child bond with Woody has been incredibly special. From the very beginning, Woody’s gentle and patient nature helped my child feel safe and confident in the saddle. What started as something new and uncertain has become something he looks forward to each week! Our family is truly grateful for the wonderful staff and horses at NCEFT.” – Parent of an Adaptive Riding Client

NCEFT: HORSES. HOPE. HEALING.

Horses. Hope. Healing. Three simple words that, when combined, have the power to transform lives. NCEFT is centered around helping people. We are about compassion, inclusiveness, and offering the highest level of service to those in need. We do this by harnessing the unique connection between horses and humans. NCEFT is also about community. Many of our clients and families describe NCEFT as a place that feels like home with people who feel like family.
