Annual costs for our herd:
- $72,000 for feed
- $33,000 for farrier services (XX….. kindly donated by Performance Horseshoeing)
- $29,000 for supplements/medications
- $23,500 for veterinary expenses (does not include emergency care)
- $21,420 for shavings
- $8,800 per year for required dental work.
- $3,825 for yearly required vaccinations

This version is from the Horse Bio page to keep things easier for the first draft: Aldi is a Fjord mare, arriving at NCEFT in 2020. She came all the way from British Columbia where she spent many years participating in therapy, mental health, and driving programs. Her superpower is stopping! This is ideal for our physical therapy clients who need help with balance reactions. Aldi is very sweet and loves attention. At the end of every session, she sends off her clients with a gentle sniff as if to say, “So long!”
