Trailblazers Mental Health and Resilience Camp
June 16-20, 2025, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm

This week-long summer program for middle school students (ages 11-14) will focus on building resilience and mindfulness skills, connecting with peers, interacting with horses, and enjoying our outdoor environment. Activities will include the basics of horsemanship and horse care, arts and crafts, games, nature walks, gardening, discussion, and team-building with peers. Sessions are facilitated by licensed therapists, horse handlers, and volunteers. No horse experience is required. Click here for more information.

Happy Trails Camp
July 28 – August 1, 9:30 am -12:30 pm

This week-long, summer day camp is filled with opportunities to explore, engage with, and enjoy the world of horses and the great outdoors. We welcome current clients from our Adaptive Riding or Hippotherapy programs and their siblings, ages 6 and up. This fun-filled week gives campers the opportunity to learn about and interact with our equine partners alongside their peers through a variety of activities. Campers can look forward to lots of hands-on horsemanship activities, games, arts and crafts, and more! Click here for more information.

Introduction to Adaptive Riding
June 4 – July 23, weekly on Wednesdays
An eight-week group for those not currently enrolled in our Adaptive Riding program. Group will be limited to 4 participants. More information about our Adaptive Riding program can be found here. To apply for this summer group, please click here and select “Intro to AR Group” from the program pick list.

NCEFT: HORSES. HOPE. HEALING.

Horses. Hope. Healing. Three simple words that when combined have the power to transform lives. NCEFT is centered around helping people. We are about compassion, inclusiveness, and offering the highest level of service to those in need. We do this by harnessing the unique connection between horses and humans. NCEFT is also about community. Many of our clients and families describe NCEFT as a place that feels like home with people who feel like family.
